I was diagnosed 35+ years ago with Friedreich's Ataxia FA. It is a rare genetic neurologic disease that affects the whole body, first my balance was off making simple walks a chore and only a few years later my slight ability to walk was gone, thank god for power chairs. You lose sensation in the arms and legs, and impaired speech really sucks.
 

My brain thinks everything works but of course my body tells a different story.
My disease has continued to progress with no cure or treatment, but (My Hope) is to raise money to help reach that cure.
